African Book Club: "Black Moses" 7pm Free

For our 21st installment, we'll be discussing Black Moses, a rollicking new novel described as “Oliver Twist in 1970s Africa” from Congo's Alain Mabanckou, the world's most celebrated Francophone African writer. Longlisted for the International Man Booker Prize 2017

Meet over eats/drinks (available for purchase) to discuss the latest, hottest, award-winning, best-selling books out of Africa. All you have to do to join is read as much of the book as you can and show up prepared for a lively (but respectful) conversation. You may attend as few or as many sessions as you'd like.
