BAD-ASS MUTHAFUCKIN' BLACK POWER POETRY OF THE 21st CENTURY 830pm Free

Scribbler Quarterly (an East Bay Poets' House/Omni Commons publication) presents a reading/release party for their Spring '18 edition!

Go on ahead and ask: what on earth are they scribblin' about?  This simple little lit zine was founded 27 years ago by Clive Matson (an Oakland native who achieved quasi-rock star status by the age of 24 as a coast-to-coast ambassador of SF's Beat Poet scene).
Today, SQ miraculously manages to stay in the hard copy print publication biz.  Despite any millennial's social media fixation, our community of subscribers adds up to a rather large snail mail circulation of lifelong readers and writers.

Tonight's talented artists include a National Book Award nominee, a Katrina survivor, a Youth Slam Champion, and a talk-show host.
