Brazilian Choro Roda (jam) 1pm

The Bay Area is a hotbed of Brazilian Choro music, an acoustic, instrumental style that is fun to listen to and that inspires its devotees to practice for hours.

A roda is an informal jam session.

Common choro instruments include guitar, cavaquinho (like a ukulele), mandolin, flute, clarinet & pandeiro (a frame drum). Any chordal or melody instrument can work so bring what you have! There will be extra charts for newcomers.

If you like jazz, latin or classical, you will enjoy choro!
