Jameson Swanagon, Hamir Atwal, Theo Padouvas, Mark Allen Piccolo & More 7pm

3 short sets of songs by simpatico Oakland musicians.

Songs for Acoustic Guitar and Cornet (or, selections from The Torn Attachment).

Jameson Swanagon and Theo Padouvas met while studying music at Boston’s New England Conservatory of Music in 2006.  The two reunited in the Bay Area in 2012, and have since been working diligently to shed their music of all unnecessary gestures, stylistic clichés, and virtuosic pretensions with the hope that they may find a music that is both serene and completely personal.  The result is a very pleasant, melodic listen that takes the listener into the private world of its practitioners.

Mark Allen-Piccolo

Haunting, echoing vocals are paired perfectly with his insightful lyrics and soothing stage presence. Check out some of his tunes below. New album coming out soon. Perfect time to catch him.

Hamir Atwal: Solo Drums

The Drummer/Percussionist is a Berklee College of Music graduate. He has performed with the Glimpse Trio, tUneyArDs, Bill Laswell, Joe Lovano, and Ben Goldberg.
