Naked Bulb: Poetry Open Mic featuring KR Morrison 7pm Free

Get in here before the backyard takes over!

This Naked Bulb with K.R. Morrison will be the last indoor Bulb of this season.  From here on out, it’s blankets, boxed wine and stale popcorn.

The Octopus has been a gracious, warm and tasty venue for the last six months.

K.R. Morrison -

When she’s not drumming in two female rock bands, K.R. Morrison teaches English Literature and Creative Writing to inner city high school students at Galileo in San Francisco, CA.

Apart from reading in New Orleans and Los Angeles, Morrison has featured three times for Bay Area Generations, among several other local curations. Published by Switchback, Quiet Lightening, and Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, she’s currently seeking a publisher for her chapbook, “Cauldrons.” Morrison also plans to publish a larger poetry collection entitled, “From Her Wrist.” One finished, she hopes to find a press that supports themes she voices in her writing.
