Rebecca Schiffman is a singer-songwriter based in Highland Park, Los Angeles. Her self-titled third LP, produced by Money Mark (Beck, Beastie Boys) and featuring Nels Cline, came out in 2017 on Fayettenam Records. Schiffman’s songs are frank, beautiful, and a little off-kilter. She names Belle and Sebastian Syd Barrett and Alexander “Skip” Spence as some of her influences. Schiffman's song “Aaron” was featured in Lena Dunham’s breakout film, Tiny Furniture and her version of the TV show Squidbillies' theme song aired in August 2017.
Jack Lewis/Awkward Energy
Jack Lewis was born and raised on the Lower East Side of New York City but has made Portland, Oregon, his home since 2006. Lewis is perhaps best known as a member of his brother’s band, Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard (Rough Trade Records). From 2001 to 2013 the brothers Lewis, along with an assortment of drummers and other musicians, toured the world in hardcore DIY fashion, booking their own shows and staying on many a couch and floor. They played shows from Los Angeles to London, Berlin to Beijing, Melbourne to Moscow, Houston to Ho Chi Minh City, blowing and confusing minds all along the way and sharing stages with Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Devendra Banhart, Devo, The Mountain Goats, The Vaselines, Pulp (at Radio City Music Hall), Scout Niblett, The Cribs, Dr. Dog, and Kimya Dawson. Since 2011 Jack has performed and recorded under the name Awkward Energy.

Since 2014 he has been hosting shows at his house, known as ESB House. (Notable shows include Explode Into Colors, Woolen Men, Dick Diver, Golden Hour, and Dragging An Ox Through Water).
